A.C.T. Investments Inc.first invested in Atlanta in the mid-1980's, with a stake in the Grandview Apartments, a 226 unit high rise in Buckhead heights. On its completion, we faced high interest rates, a moribund apartment market, and the worst recession in 20 years in the US real estate industry. However, instead of pulling back like many Asian investors, we persevered with a new investment strategy. We continued investing, focusing on moderate income multi family housing with the Julian Lecraw Company. When the apartment and condominium market started to recover, we were well positioned to capitalize on it, with condominium conversions such as the 100 unit Melrose Park in midtown. A.C.T. has had an outstanding decade, and is poised to make an even greater impact in the Atlanta market.

Our expansion into the retail sector; through the Atlanta Chinatown Mall, is also performing beyond expectations. Fueled by buoyant demand in the ethnic market, we are breaking ground on the International Village @ Chamblee, a 30 acre, 500,000 square feet shopping center/retail office development. This PUD (Planned Unit Development) will have 3 development themes; Asian Village, a Mediterranean/European Village and a Global Market/Arcade Fair housing a Trade and Cultural Center, retail outlets, themed restaurants, trade offices and an outdoor auditorium for artistic and community events.

A.C.T. has carved its niche as the 'Developer of Lifestyles' in mid-90s. Having received numerous accreditations as a forerunner in the property industry, A.C.T. continues to propel onward as the leading Asian developer in Atlanta.

A.C.T. strong brand name has attracted much attention from local and international institutions and business chains alike, signaling international confidence with highly reputable foreign partners in overseas projects located in China and United States, and previously in Japan and Singapore.
